Ctrl + S opens a new search. Searches may also be launched from the Search menu or by right-clicking in the Searches window. All searches retrieve entries in Domesday Book. A new search automatically becomes the current search. This may be changed by deselecting the Make this search current box on the Search form.

Searches are not case-sensitive; they may be edited or deleted from the Search menu or by right-clicking in the Searches window.
