All data types may be exported to other packages:

Tables
facsimile
maps
text

Supported export formats are:

for tables, Dbase (.dbf), Excel (.xls), Foxpro (.dbf), Paradox (.db), text only (.txt), or web page (.htm). By default the hit list is exported. If a group of records within the list are selected, these are exported. The Export Table As form allows the export to be restricted to selected fields.

for images, bitmap files (.bmp). By default, the current selection is exported. The Export Image form allows the entire image or just its visible portion to be exported.

for text, text only (.txt), or rich text format (.rtf).
