Exporting data to other programs

All data types may be exported to other packages:

• facsimile

• maps

• tables

• text

Supported export formats are:

• For tables: Dbase (.dbf), Excel (.xls), Foxpro (.dbf), Paradox (.db), text only (.txt), or web page (.htm).

  • By default the hit list is exported.

  • If a group of records within the list are selected, these are exported.

  • The Export Table As form allows the export to be restricted to selected fields.

• For images, bitmap files (.bmp).

  • By default, the current selection is exported.

  • The Export Image form allows the entire image or just its visible portion to be exported.

• For text, text only (.txt), or rich text format (.rtf).
