Tables

Any table may be viewed in either the Viewer pane or the Navigator window by selecting it from the drop-down list on the Toolbar.

Dragging the column header left or right resizes a column to fit the window or to fit the data. Right-clicking in a table produces a menu offering the same choices.

Dragging a column header to a new position rearranges the columns, and dragging it into the grouping panel at the top of the table groups it on that field. A table may be grouped on more than one column, allowing the information to be restructured to several levels. Grouping is therefore a powerful tool for reorganising the data.

• place-name forms table
