place-name forms table

The Place-name forms table indexes all forms of each place-name in Great and Little Domesday. It is sorted by place-name. This table includes the Ordnance Survey coordinates used for mapping.

The names of the fields, and the information they contain, are:

County: the county in which the place was recorded

Hundred: the Hundred in which the place was located

Vill: the name of the Vill

OSref: the Ordnance Survey coordinates of the vill.
