images table

The Images table records the county, Phillimore reference, and filename of the image or images for each entry in Domesday Book. Since some entries have more than one image attached to them (where entries are split between columns or folios, for instance), a fourth field records the number of the image for the entry. In the majority of cases, this will be 1.

The table is divided into the following fields:

County: the Domesday county

Phillimore: the Phillimore entry reference

ImageSub: the number of the image for that entry

Image: the file name of the image.
